And out of the ground the LORD God / O LORD made every tree grow that is pleasnt to the sight and good for food. The tree of life which was also in the midst of the garden. and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became four river heads. The name of the first is Pishon; it is the one which skirits the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. And the gold of that land is good. Bdellium and the onyx stone are there. The name of The name of the second river Gihon; it is the one which goes around whole land of cush. The name of the third river is Hiddekel; it is the one which goes toward the east of Assyria. The forth river is Euphrates. Genesis 2:9-14
Then the LORD God / O LORD took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. And the LORD God / O LORD commanded the man, saying," Of every tree of the garden you may feerly eat; But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day you eat of it you shall die." Genesis 2:15-17
And the LORD God / O LORD said, "It is not good that man / Adam should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him. Out of the ground the LORD God / O LORD formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam / man to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam / man call each living creature, that was its name. So Adam / man gave names to all the cattle, to the bird of the field. But for Adam / man there was not found a helper comparable to him. And the LORD God / O LORD caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam / man, and he slept; and took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the LORD God / O LORD had taken from man / Adam He made a woman, and brought her to the man. And Adam / man said: "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall called Woman, because she was taken out of Man." Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. And they were both naked (Adam and the woman / Eve), the man and his wife / Woman / The woman and were not ashamed. GENESIS 2:18-25
NOW the serpent / Satan / death / the ruler of the demons / theif and robber was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God / O LORD had made. And he said to the woman / Eve, "Has God indeed said, `You shall not eat of every tree of the garden; And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.` "Then the serpent said to the woman / Eve, "You will not surely die. "For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." So when the woman / Eve saw that ther tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also give her husband / Adam with her, and he / Adam ate. Then the eyes of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves covering. And they heard the sound of the LORD God / O LORD walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam / man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God / O LORD among the trees of the garden. Then the LORD God / O LORD called to Adam / man and said to him, " Where are you?" So he / Adam said, "I heard Your voice in the garden, and I hid myself." And He said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I command you that you should not eat?" Genesis 3:1-11
Then the man said, "The woman / Woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I eat." Genesis 3:12
And the LORD God / O LORD said to the woman, "What is this you have done?" Genesis 3:13
The woman / Woman said, "The serpent / Milcom decieved me, and I eat" Genesis 3:13
So the LORD God / O LORD said to the serpent / Satan / the ruler of the dmons / death / a thief and robber: "Because you have done this, you are cursed more than all cattle, and more than every beast of the field; on your belly you shall go, and you shall eat the dust all the days of your life. I will put enmity between you / Satan and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel." To the woman He said: I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; in pain you shall bring forth children; your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you." And to Adam / man He said, "Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, `You shall not eat of it: "Cursed is the ground for your sake; in toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life. Both throns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, and you shall eat the herb of the field. In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground, for out of it you are taken; for the dust you are and to dust you shall return." And Adam / man called his wife`s name Eve, because she was mother of all living. Also for Adam / man and his wife / Eve the LORD God / O LORD made tunics of skin, and clothing them. Genesis 3:14-21
There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job, and that man was blamless and upright ,and one who feared God and shunned evil. And seven sons and three daughters were born to him. Also, his possessions were seven thousands sheep, three thousands camels, five hundred female donkey, and a very large houshold, so that this man was greatest of all the people of the East. And his sons would go and feast in their houses, each on his appointed day, and would send and invite their three sister to eatand drink with them. So it was, when the days of feasting had run their course, that Job would send and sanctify them, and he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, "It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts." Thus Job did regularly. Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan death / the ruler of the demons / the serpent also came among them. And the LORD said to Satann / death / the ruler of the demons / the serpent, "From where do you come?" So Satan / death / the ruler of the demons / the serpent / a thief and a robber answered the LORD and said, "From going and to and fro on the earth and walking back and forth on it." Then the LORD said to Satan / death / the ruler of the demons / the serpent, "Have you considered My sevant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God shuns evil? So Satan / death / the ruler of the demons / the serpent answered the LORD and said, "Does Job fear God for nothing? "Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that hehas on every side? You have blessed the work of his handand his possession has increased in the land. "But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he, and he will surely curse You to Your face. And the LORD said to Satan / the ruler of the demons / the serpent / death / a thief and a robber, "Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person," So Satan / the ruler of the demons / the serpent / death / went out from the presence of the LORD. Now there ws a day when his sons and daughter were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother's house; And a messenger came to Job and said, "The oxen were plowing and the donkey feeding beside them, "When the Sabeans riade them and took them away - indeed they have killed the sevants with the edge of sword; and I alone have escaped to tell you!" While he was still speaking, another also came and said, "The fire of God fell from heaven and burned up the seep and the sevants, and consumed them; and I alone have escaped to tell you!" While he was still speaking, another also came and said, "The Chaldeans formed three bands, raided the camels, and took them away, yes and killed the servants with the edge of the sword; and I alone have escaped to tell you!" While he was still speaking, another also came and said, "Your sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother's house, And suddenly a a great wind came from across the wilderness and struck the four corners of the house , and it fell on the young people, and they are dead; and I was alone have escaped to tell you!" Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and fell to the ground and worshiped. And he said, "Naked I came from my mother's womb, and nake shall I returned there. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD." In all this Job did not sin nor charged God with wrong. JOBS 1:1-22
Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan / death / the ruler of the demons / the serpent came also among to present himself before the LORD. And the LORD said to the Satan / death / the ruler of the demons / the serpent / a thief and a robber, "From where do you come? Satan / death / the ruler of the demons / the serpent / a thief and a robber answered the LORD and said, "From going to and fro on the earth and from walking back and forth on it." Then the LORD said to Satan / death / the ruler of the demons / the serpent, "Have you considerd My ervant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blamless and uprightman, one who fears God and shuns evil? And still he hold fast his integrity, although you incited Me against him, to destroyed him without cause." So Satan / death / the ruler of the demons / Satan / the serpent / a thief and robber answerd the LORD and said, "Skin for skin! Yes, all that a man has has hewill give for his life." But strech out Your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will surely curse You to Your face!" And the LORD said to Satan / death / the ruler of the demons / the serpent, "Behold , he is inyour hand, but spare his life." So Satan / death / the ruler of the demons / the serpent went out from the presence of the LORD, and struck Jobwith panful boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head. And he took for himself a potheard with witch to scarp himself while he sat in the midst of the ashes. Then his wife said to him, " Do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God and die. But he said to her, "You speak as one of the foolish woman speak. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?" In all this Job did not sin with his lips. JOB 2:1-10
THEN he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the LORD, and Satan / death / the ruler of the demons / the serpent / a thief and a robberstanding at his right hand to oppose him. And the LORD said to Satan, "The LORD rebuke you, Satan / death / the ruler of the demons / the serpent / a thief and robber! The LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?" Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel. Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying" Take away the filthy garments from him. "And to him He said, "See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes." And I said, "Let them put a clean turban on his head." So they put a clean turban on his head, and they put the clothes on him. And the Angel of the LORD stood by. Then the Angel of the LORD admonished Joshua, saying, Then says the LORD of hosts: 'If you will walk in My ways, and if you will keep My command, then you shall also judge My house, and likewise have charge of My courts; I will give you places to walk among these who stand here. 'Hear, O Joshua, the high priest, you and your companions who sit before you, for they are a wonderous sign; for behold, I am bringing forth My Servant the BRANCH. For behold, the stone that I have laid before Joshua: upon the stone are seven eyes: Behold, I will engrave its inscription,' says the LORD of hosts, 'And I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. In that day, 'says the LORD of hosts, 'Everyone will invite his neighbor under his vine and under his fig tree. ' " ZECHARIAH 3:1-10
AFTER these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before is face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go. Then He said to them,"The harvest truly isgrea, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of harvest to send out laborers into harvest. "Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves. "Carry neither money bag, knapsack, nor sandals ; and greet no one along the road. "But whatever house you enter, first say,' Peace to this house.' "And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest on it ; if not, it will return to you. "And remain in the same house, eating and drinking such things as they give, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not go from house to house. "Whatever city you enter, and they receieve you, eat such things as are set before you. "And heal the sick there, and say to them, 'The kingdom of God has come near to you.' "But whatever city you enter, and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say, 'The very dust of your city which clings to us we wipe off against you. Nevetheles know this, that the kingdo of God has come near you.' "But I say to you that it will be more tolerable in that Day for Sodom than for that it. "Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethasaids! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.' "But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you. "And you, Capernaum, who are exalt to heaven, will be brought down to Hades. "He who hears you hears Me, he who rejects you rejects Me, and he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me. Then the seventy returned with joy, saying," Lord ,even the demons are subject to us in Your name." And He said to them," I saw Satan / death / the ruler of the demons / the serpent / a thief and robber fall like lightening from heaven. "Behold, I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothung shall be any means hurt you. "Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirit s are suject to you, bit rathe rejoice because yor names are written in heaven." In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said," I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed the wise to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in you sight. "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son the Father expect, and one to whom the Son will to reveal Him." Then He turned to His disciples and said privately," Blessed are the eyes which see the things you see; "For I tell you that many prophets and kings have desired to see what you see, and have not seen it, and to hear what you hear, and have not heard it." And behold, a certain lawy stood up and tested Him, saying "Teacher, what shall I do to inherit etrenal life?" He said to him," What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?" So he answered and said," You shall love the LORD your God with all yor heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,'and 'your neghbor as yourself.'" And He said to him," You have answered rightly; do this and you will live." But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesu,"And who is my neighbor?" Then Jesus answered and said: "A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. "Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passd by on the other side. Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side. "But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. "So he went to him and bandad his wounds, pouring on oil and wine ; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. "On the nextday, when he depared, he took out two denarii, gave them to the inn keeper, and said to him, 'Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.' "So which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?" An he siad," He who showed mercy on him." Then Jesus said to him," Go and do likewise." Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said," Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me." And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubld about many things. "But one thing is needed, and Mary as choosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her."LUKE 10;1-42
AND again He began to teach by the sea. And a great multitude was gathered to Him, so that He got into a boat and sat in it on the sea; and the whole multitude was on the land facing the sea. Then He taught them many things by parables, and said to them in His teaching. "Listen! Behold, a sower went out to sow. "And it happened, as he sowed, that some seed fell by he wayside; and the birds of the air came and devoured it. "Some fell on stony ground, where it did not have much earth and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of earth. "But when the sun was up it was scorched, and because it had no root it withered away. "And some seed fell among throns; and the throns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no crop. "But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hunderd." And He said to them, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear!" But when He was alone, those around Him with the twelve asked Him about the parable. And He said to them, "To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables, "So that 'See in they may see and not perceive, and hearing hey may hear and not undestand; lest they should turn, and their sins be forgiven them.' " And He sid to them, "Do you not understand this parable? How then will you undersand all the parables? 4 "The sowers sows the word. And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan / death / the ruler of the demons / the serpent / a thief and a robber comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts. "These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; "And they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word's sake, immedaiely they stumble. "Now these are ones sown among throns; they are the ones who hear the word, "And the cares of this world, the decietfulnes of riches, and the desires for othe things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. "But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some hundred." Also He said to them, "Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Is it not to be set on a lampstand? "For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been secret but that it shuold come to light. 23 "And anyone has ears to hear, let him hear." MARK 4:1-23
"MOST assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber / the serpent / Satan / the ruler of demons / death. "But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. "To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. "And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them' and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. "Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from, for they do not know the voice of strangers." Jesus used this illustration, but they did not understand the things which He spoke to them. Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. “All whoever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. “The thief / The serpent / Milcom does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and they may have it more abundantly. “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. “But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own sheep, see the wolf coming and leaves the sheep. “The hireling flees because he is a hireling / the man of sin and does not care about the sheep. “I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, am known but My own.“As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. “And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. ‘Therefore My Father loves me, because I lay down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. “No one take it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself.I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again This command I have received from My Father.” Therefore there was a division again among the Jews because of these sayings. And many of them said, "He has a demon and is mad. Why do you listen to Him?" Others said, "These are not the words of one who has a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?" Now it was the Feast of Dedication in Jerusalem, and it was winter. And Jesus walked in the temple, in Solomen's porch. Then the Jews surrounded Him and said to Him, "How long do you keep us in doubt? If You are the Christ tell us plainly." Jesus answered them, "I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father's name, they bear witness of Me. "But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you. "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they folow Me. "And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch from them out of My hand. "My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand. "I and My Father are one." Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him. Jesus answered Him, "Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of those works do you stone Me?" Then Jews answered Him, saying, "For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You being a Man, make Yourself God." Jesus answered them, 'Is it not writtten in your law, "I said, "You are gods" '. "If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came ( and the Scripture cannot be broken), "Do you say to Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, 'You are blaspheming,` because I said, 'I am the Son of God '? "If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; "But if I do, though you not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him." Therefore they sought again to seize Him, but He escaped our of their hand. And He went away again beyond the Jordan to the place where John was baptizing at first, and there He stayed. Then many came to Him and said, "John performed no sign, but all things that John spoke about this Man were true." And many believed in Him there. JOHN 10:1-42
MOREOVER, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you recieved and in which you stand, By which you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you - unless you believe in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also recieved: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, And that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to present, but some have fallen asleep. After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. Then last of all He was seen by me, as by one born out of due time. For I am the least apostles, whom am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than thay all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was within me. Therefore whether it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed. Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up - if in fact the dead do not rise. For if the dead not rise, then Christ is not risen. And of Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable. But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since by man came death, By Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. But each one in his own order: Christ the first fruits, afterward those who are Christ's at His coming. Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign till He has put enemies under His feet. The last enemy that will be destroyed is death / the ruler of the demons / Satan / the serpent / a thief and a robber. For "He has put all things under His feet. But when He says "all things are put under Him," it is evident that He put all things under Him, "it is evident that He who put all things under Him is expected. Now when all things are subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be sublect to Him who put all under Him, that God may be all in all. Otherwise, what will they do who baptised for the dead, if the dead do not rise at all? Why then are they baptised for the dead? And why do we stand in jeopardy every hour? I affirm, by the boasting in which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. If, in the manner of men, I have faught with beasts at Ephesus, what advantage is it to me? If the dead do not rise, "Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die." Do not be decieved: "Evil company corrupt good habits." Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame. But someone will say, "How are the dead raised up? And with what body they come?" Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies. And what you sow, you do not sow that body that shal be, but mere grain - perhaps wheat or some other grain. But God given it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body. All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of animals, another of fish, and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differ from another star in glory. So also is the resurection of dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption. It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spitual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spirtual boby. And so it is written, "The first man Adam become a living being. "The last Adam became a life - giving spirit. However, the spitual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spirtual. The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven. As was the man of dust, so also are those who made of dust; and as is the heavenly, Man, so also are those who are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of man of dust, we shall aslo bear the image of the heavenly Man. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed - In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpt. For the trumpt will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruption has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, So when this corruption has put on incorruption and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is writen: "Death is swallowed up in victory." "O death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?" The sting of death / the ruler of the demons / Satan / the serpent / a thief and a robber is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not vain in the Lord.1 CORINTHIANS 15:1-58
OH, that you would bear with me in a little folly - and indeed you do bear with me. For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chasten virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent decieved Eve by his crafiness, so your mind may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we do not preached, or if you recieve a different gospel which you have not accepted - you may well put up with it! For I consider that I am not at all inferior to most eminent apostles. Even though I am untrained in speech, yet I am not in knowledge. But we have been throughly manifest among you in all things. Did I commit sin in humbling myself that you might be exalted, because I preached the gospel of God to you free of charge? I robbed other churches, taking wages from them to minister to you. And when I was present with you, and in need, I was a burden to no one, for what I lacked the brethren who came from Macedonia supplied. And in everythng I kept myself from being burdensome to you, and so I will keep myself. As the truth of Christ is in me, no one shall stop me from this boasting in the regions of Achaia. Why? Because I do not love you? God knows! But what I do, I will also continue to do, that I may cut off the opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the things of which they boast. For such are false apostles, decietful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan / death / the ruler of the demons / the serpent himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great this if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. I say again, let no one think me a fool. If otherwise, at least recieve me as a fool, that I also may boast a little. What I speak, I speak not according to the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this cinfidence of boasting. Seeing that many boast according to the flesh, I also will boast. For you put up with fools gladly, since you yourselves are wise! For you put up with it if one brings you into bondage, if one devours you, if one takes from you, if one exalts himself, if one strikes you on the face. To our shame I say that we were too weak for that! But in whatever anyone is bold - I speak foolishly - I am bold also. Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelite? So am I. Are they the seed of Abraham: So am I. Are they ministers of Christ? - I speak as a fool - I am more: on labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in death often. From the Jews five times I recieved forty strips minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I shipwretched; and a night and a day I have been in the deep; In journey often, in perils of waters, in perils of robber, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; In weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fasting often, in cold and nakedness - Besides the other things, what comes upon me daily: my deep concern for all the churches. Who is week, and I am not weak? Who is made to stumble, and I did not burn with indignation? If I must boast, I will boast, I will boast in the things which concern my infirmity. The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is blessed forever, knows that I am not lying. In Damascus the governor, under Aretas the king, was guarding the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desring to arrest me; But I was let down in a basket through a window in the wall, and escaped from his hands. 2 CORINTHIANS 11:1-33
THEN I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan / death / the ruler of the demons / the serpent, and bound him for a thousand years; And he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should decieve the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a litle while. And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not recieved his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for thousand years. But rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousands years. Now when the thousands years have expired, Satan / death / the ruler of the demons / the serpent / a thief and a robber will be released from his prison. And will go out to decieve the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them togather to battle, whose number is the sand of the sea. They went up on the breath of the earth and sorround the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. The devil, who decieved them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. REVELATION 20:1-15
